🕰️ Omega Ref. 2542-2 | Cal. 265 | Year: 1950
Manual Wind • Arabic Numerals • Signed Crown • Serviced with Warranty
This 1950 Omega Ref. 2542-2 is a superb example of post-war Swiss simplicity done right. With its 31mm stainless steel case, crisp silver dial, and full Arabic numerals, it delivers a military-inspired look that feels just as relevant today.
The dial features bold black numerals, syringe-style hands with a warm patina, and a sub-seconds register at 6 o’clock. Powering the watch is the Omega Caliber 265, a manual wind movement with 15 jewels and a movement serial number 12389218, confirming the production year as 1950.
The caseback is stamped Acier Staybrite and engraved internally with the correct 2542-2 reference. A signed Omega crown is still in place—an excellent touch of originality.
The watch has been recently serviced and is sold with a 3-month warranty. It’s paired with a sleek, handcrafted CWM black snakeskin leather strap that finishes the look perfectly.
