Flashing a new "old" watch. 1940s Hamilton Endicott. It's a gents watch so it probably didn't see action in World War 2. But I'd like to think some soldier got home safe and decided to reward himself with this very watch. One can romanticize.

There’s an adage in watch collecting—buy the seller, not the watch—that’s quite apropos when dealing with Collectible Watches Manila. We started trading in February 2023 and I’ve been a repeat customer ten times over, starting with a 1930s Hamilton Endicott to pricier pieces. All their watches are in great working order and they are a pleasure to deal with. What I like most of all is that they don’t force watches to customers just for the sake of getting a sale. They actually take the time to find the right watch for the right person, even to the point of telling me I wouldn’t like a particular piece if they think it won’t fit my collection. I plan to continue transacting with them until I run out of money or they run out of watches. I have a feeling it will be the former rather than the latter.
